Your Registration

Please note that you will be asked to enter your registration exactly as it is spaced on the checkout page when placing your order. We will only produce fully road legal plates, with standard spacing (as it appears on your V5C).

Size

The standard UK size for number plates are 520mm by 111mm. Please note this will vary if you opt for a shortened plate option. Shortened plates are cut down to a unique size depending on the length of your registration.

What is HD Reflective ?

Our HD Reflective is an exclusive reflective option that will give your plates a more defined look opposed to the flat colour of our Standard Reflective. The HD Reflective is much more reflective than our Standard Reflective, this is due to it having specks of glitter embedded within the reflective sheet. We always recommend the HD Reflective option to our customers as it is a small price to pay if you keeping your plates for any length of time and it will help you stand out from the crowd.

Legality

Please note that by law we include our company name, postcode and BSAU number on the plate. The font style for all our plates is Charles Wright which is the legal UK road font, compliant with the law. The DVLA confirm that three-dimensional characters are legal and compliant with road laws, this includes ‘4D’ number plates, as 4D is only an industry standard name, and they are still classed as three-dimensional.

Do I need to send in documents?

As a DVLA registered number plate supplier, we have to request documents that prove your identity and that you can use the registration number. We understand this is a slight inconvenience, but do our best to ensure sending documents to us is made as simple as possible. Be aware of other suppliers that do not request these documents, as it may suggest the replacement number plates they are producing are not road legal.

When sending in documents require one to confirm your identity and one to confirm you can use the registration. Examples of acceptable documents are listed below:

To confirm your identity

• driving licence
• utility, Council Tax or rates bill from the last 6 months
• bank or building society statement from the last 6 months
• national identity card
• passport

To confirm you can use the registration

• vehicle registration certificate (V5C or V5CNI)
• new keeper supplement (V5C/2 or V5C/2NI)
• of entitlement (V750 or V750NI) to the number
• retention document (V778) - not applicable in Northern Ireland
• a renewal reminder for vehicle tax or SORN (V11 or V11NI)
• temporary registration certificate (V379 or V379NI)
• a number plate authorisation certificate (V948) with an official stamp from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) or Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)
• an electronic number plate authorisation certificate (eV948)
• a letter of authorisation from a fleet operator (including lease or hire company) quoting the document reference number from the registration certificate

How do I send my documents?

Do the names on the ID/proof of address and entitlement document need to match?

The law permits the purchase of number plates as a gift, so the names do not need to match on both documents. You can use your own ID, and the entitlement certificate belonging to a family member or friend to purchase number plates from us.

Returns & Cancellations

Returns can only be made if the goods are damaged or faulty/incorrect. As these are bespoke items you cannot get a refund on your product if you change your mind or want to cancel your order if the order has already been made. We do not offer cash refunds we as these are bespoke items, we will rectify the damaged goods and send them back up to you.
